The RHS Gardening Awards is an initiative to ensure the next generation of gardeners. By providing children with education about gardening we can work towards a greener planet together and ensure that it continues to happen for the foreseeable future.

The Eco-Schools Green Flag Award is an award given to those nurseries that include 7 steps inside their nurseries. These seven steps include:

- Having an Eco-Committee
- Having an Environmental Review
- Having an Eco Action Plan
- Eco links in Curriculum
- Informing and Involving
- Monitoring and Evaluation
- Creating an Eco-Code

Here at Lottie's Nursery, we ensure that all our staff are trained in paediatric first aid to ensure that your children are safe no matter what happens.

Millie's Mark is an endorsement that is awarded to those nurseries that go above and beyond a minimum requirements by having 100% of staff trained in paediatric first aid, and also ensuring that everything learned during the course is kept alive and in the forefront of practitioner's minds so that they are confident, ready and capable.

At Lottie's, we prioritise environmental responsibility as a core element of our educational philosophy. From an early age, we teach our students not only the importance of protecting the planet by also empower them with practical knowledge on how they can make a positive impact. A key focus of our efforts is fostering a plastic-free environment in our schools. Through engaging activities and hands-on learning, our children learn about the harmful effects of plastic pollution and explore sustainable alternatives.
